Imagination is the road less taken, but it is the pathway of prayer. Prayer and imagination are directly proportional: the more you pray the bigger your imagination becomes because the Holy Spirit supersizes it with God-sized dreams. One litmus test of spiritual maturity is whether your dreams are getting bigger or smaller.

The news on Saturday said an ocean liner slowly sank into the water off the coast of Tuscany in the Mediterranean. Four thousand people have been rescued and three have been reported dead so far. The photos of the “Costa Concordia” were unbelievable. Several on board said, “It was like no one was in charge.” This is a classic “leadership fail” that we can learn from.
1. Stay visible. Be public. Don’t run from the problem.
2. Prepare and execute a plan.
3. Give clear direction to followers.
4. Outsource what you must to furnish solutions.
5. Over-communicate.
